The legal basis for the importance of Work Safety has been well structured starting with Minister of Labor Regulation No. 7 of 1964 concerning Health Conditions for Hygiene and Information at Work. Law No. 1 of 1970 concerning Work Safety which was revealed to be Permenaker No. 5 of 1996 concerning the Health and Safety Management System of Work, Permenaker No. 4 of 1987 concerning the Committee for Guidance for Occupational Safety and Health (P2K3), Permenaker No. 1 of 1998 concerning the Implementation of Health Care for Workers with Better Benefits from the Social Security Basic Health Insurance Package (Jamsostek), Permenaker No. 3 of 1983 concerning Occupational Health Services, as well as other related regulations.
